Actually, I was thinking it would be sort of like a pet. You know, we could...we could name her Trixie, or Miss Kitty Fantastico, or something.

"When the world's run by fools it's the duty of intelligence to disobey." Martin Firrell

Ah, see we got the unadulterated BBC versions of SS 'cos they screen on our ABC which is basically like the Australian chapter of the BBC.

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

Only cooler, because Plasmo and John H are from there.

Obscure google tricks. It parses numerical expressions.

Search for 2+2 or 1009*21 and it invokes google calculator. Plus enter : "the answer to life, the universe and everything", and the first result it returns is 42! Google in full geek mode

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Died down? It never lived here.

I like that. Bizarrely, I really like that.

While we're talking Googlegeek, have you seen Google labs? Some of the stuff there, especially Google sets is fun. Try entering three words that are as unconnected as possible and pressing the "large set" button. Sometimes it's dull; sometimes it's very, very silly.

Right ita - I accidentally posted here instead of natter. Will edit reference out.

For a second, Gar, I thought there were two Wil discussions, and I'd missed one. Having been all up in the Natter one, that would have disappointed me.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

UKers ... what's the story with Strange? The last issue of Dreamwatch that I got, has a big article about it and they ask; "UK Buffy?" Has the first season been shown and is it worth watching out for, or not?

Emlah ... what night was Miracles being screened? It's not being shown in Adelaide at all :(

To every idea a shelf...

In Sydney it's showing on Mondays at 10:30pm, which is the old Buffy timeslot. I still haven't watched the ep I taped the other week, but I watched bits of the episode that screened this week. It looks kinda interesting, but not particularly special.

When you guys said 'Don't get too attached because it didn't last very long', I didn't realise there were only six episodes. Wow.
