I never liked it either. I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

Suddenly, I feel alone in my Seinfeld love.
Sometimes I wasn't terribly amused, but other times I thought it was really pretty funny.
You're not Jon. I like Seinfeld a lot. I wouldn't want to know those people in real life, but they're perfectly fine on my TV
I loved it for a while, and then just got tired of it. It's only recently I can watch the reruns again.

I really enjoyed the show, but got turned off by the coldness of the characters. Same thing that turned me off with Cheers too - so many of the jokes got mean spirited over time. I prefer a sappy sitcom like Friends or Mary Tyler Moore (which famously ended in a hug, yet avoided lessons learned)
Seinfeld was the number one show on TV for ages. It's us haters who had the alone thing going. You couldn't admit to not liking Seinfeld - people thought less of you!
I didn't like the wedding-invite story either, Hec.

I'm pretty sure that's the episode most cited on the Jumping The Shark website.
Buffy used to be in the Never Jumped category, but I bet there are lots of votes now for (a) after graduating from H.S. (b) Dawn's arrival (c) Bleak S6.
Jon ... Allan was joking I'm sure. Seinfeld is flogged like the rotted horse carcass that it is and it was back on Aussie screens not that long ago.
I used to think the early seasons were hilarious but then one day George started to really annoy me and from then on I found it increasingly difficult to watch. I still found things to laugh at in the later seasons but the love had gone and I could only watch it in tiny doses.
