It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

except for the fact that nobody in their right mind voluntarily goes to Reading

Hey, they have that big festival and all. I've wanted to go to Reading for ages.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Point of information: nothing world-shattering ever happens in Exeter. Ever.

Heh, the next town over from me is also called Exeter, nothing ever happens there, either. So much so that they are the only town in Rhode Island that has no municipal police force.

Well there was a kind of comic element involved in my choice of Exeter... Having said that, we're just tempting fate, aren't we?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But...the Bridge Inn is near Exeter and you can have Bishop's Tipple there.

I did go to the WOMAD festival at Reading this year, which was a gret day out. And David, you have a point about the Bridge - did you know it was the first pub the Queen ever went to in like 1985? That's how good it is.

I bop to Wittgenstein. -- Nutty

There's a terrible service station just outside Exeter. Whenever we drive down to Cornwall we have to try and avoid needing to stop there. That's about as world shattering as it gets.

Exeter is a nice place. Lovely cathedral.

Jim, how far are you with the tapes?

information libertarian

My cousin and her husband live in Exeter. Their house is in a graveyard. They were in the tabloids when they bought it. It's a happenin' town.

Their house is in a graveyard.

Which graveyard? I lost some of my virginity in a graveyard in Exeter...
