I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

Nobody

Mostly yes. But not always. Season 6 for example?

Indeed. But I was thinking mostly about the empowerment thing. It's been a goal of the series since the beginning (as seen in the tired old blond-in-the-alley story which interviewers always bring up when they're talking to Joss), but it's been handled with great finesse--it's never been the Issue with a captial letter before.

Leigh, I guess maybe you're right, but it's just nice to have a really charismatic villain after, what, three seasons without one?

Oh, yes. It was a relief, really, after the First's ineffectual crapitude over the past half-season. I would have liked it better if they had realised how much the incorporeal thing wasn't working in terms of dramatic tension earlier, and had Caleb been less of an afterthought.

Oh, I get it. Yep, you're right, it's usually more subtle, underlying all the other Issues they deal with but not offered up on a platter.

Still, Andrew lust in no way compares to the wrongess of my..uh 'thoughts' on Caleb. It's residual Firefly love, that's what it is. Uh-huh.

Maybe it is the Firefly factor, because I've never seen it and I wasn't attracted at all.

Aww. You people who haven't seen the rest of S4 AtS are SOOOOO CUTE!!!

Just saw Sacrifice. 'Twas a delightful gay romp.

The thinking with his heart stuff got the Wes/Angel crew going, that's for sure.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

4 hours later and i'm still in a daze. Xander's eye. Xander's fucking eye!!

on the plus side, it'll make sighting on the bow easier, plus he can now say "arrgh, me hearties" and not look naff.

I'm glad this is the last season of Buffy. My heart couldn't take much more of this. Damn. Xander's fucking eye!!

Reverand Tightpants is a great villian.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Aren't they just precious?

`He combed his hair, Put on a shirt that his mother made, And he went on the air...'

Notice how Faith ALWAYS moves in on Buffy's men.

If I only had a brain...

Yeah, and there's Angel and Spike's women... what of it?

`He combed his hair, Put on a shirt that his mother made, And he went on the air...'

Sorry, I'm not with you....?

If I only had a brain...

Oh, just that many evil characters are man-stealers (woman-stealers); it's how you tell they're evil.

`He combed his hair, Put on a shirt that his mother made, And he went on the air...'

Maybe, or maybe that slayers could have similar taste in men (except Kendra who wasn't allowed to speak to them), or that there's an extremely competitive dynamic between Angel and Spike, and between Faith and Buffy.

Loved how surprised Faith was at Buffy getting it on with Spike. But how come Spike never brought up Fuffy's prick-teasing lines with Buffy?
