Oooh! Sisters in carb loving. My mother says that's our Anglo-Saxon blood. I have no idea if that's true, but it sounds good when she says it.

Cindy, I don't qualify - half-Celt, half Russian.
But all about the carbs, oh yes, you bet.
There was probably plenty of mixing on the Celt side (which probably has a good dash o' Norman in there, too); I'm mostly Celt, myself, anyhow. I say you're in the carb club. In fact, since I usually drool over your food posts Deborah, I appoint you club cook.
(accepting Cindy's appointment, unless someone else wants it, bu they'd have to agree to provide me with carbs.....)
Just popping in to say...
Matt Stone
BEN Stone! Thank goodness I finally remembered - it was driving me MAAAAAAAAAD.
(edit - and Matt Stone is one of the creators (along with Trey Parker) of South Park. Whew, glad I figured that out.)
D'oh! I knew that. Thanks Cindy.
Naff is the opposite of having street cred meara
Naff used to be used as a verb, as well. I remember Princess Anne or someone shocking the press by telling some paparazzi to naff off.

Huh? You're welcome. (but you meant to thank someone else, unless I'm in a fugue - which is possible - I must need carbs. DEBORAH!!!)

Crap. For some reason I thought it was you, but no. I'll go back and figure out who it was that corrected me on my L&Oness.
Nope; only thing I had to say about L&O was that I hadn't ever really been a fan. Too ripped from the headlinesish for me, although the early ones, definitely more to my taste.
Yes, Cindy? Here, have a plate of m'jedrah, seasoned with spring onions, shallots, ras el hanout - would you like some lamb in there, for protein?
Hot bread?
