"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Secret message to Deb: I'm re-reading your Emma Peel story just now, and loving it even more. Damn, you're good.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Ok, I take that back, the Register story was not a joke. I got confused by the disclaimer at the bottom.

Scary. Scarier. Run Screaming From The Room.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Phone sex vibrator attachments! I love this (in a purely rhetorical way, of course....)

Fay, I'm going to do some backhistory with Steed and Spike and Dru. Because I'm evil. Because I can.

heheheheheh....

(edited to say, secret message to Fay not so secret because I always screw up when I try and whitefont stuff)

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Who doesn't like Nigel Havers? Why not?

Angus is the BAD MAN.

He even came up with a new word to describe NH. It's in COMM.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Got this link from David Ehrenstein. An excellent review of the film and also how the events of "Gulf War I" relate directly to "Gulf War II".

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

OK - a different kind of phone porn. (Warning - does involve as much actual porn as the Register is capable of.)

Gar, was that prompted by the Coupling comments? Because there was actually an ep that referenced a similar, er, attempt at multitasking.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Umm no, pure coincidence; never saw that episode. Hmm, given the subject more of an impure coincidence.

And how the hell are you? I remember something about you having a pretty extreme schedule right now. Glad you have some time this Easter weekend. When is the time pressure due to ease up?

Three Kings is a great movie. I've been meaning to watch it again, given the current situation. Fortunately, SO was given the DVD for his birthday (and not by me).

Not bad, all things considered. Work's good, some interesting research going on, and I hope to find out next week what I'll be doing once I finish up here. Study's feeling manageable right now, though I'll still probably be limiting my time on these boards.

The exam's on May 31, so things will ease up thereafter (just in time for work to get busier, I suspect). Oh, and we've planned a trip to Spain for a couple of weeks over June/July, so looking forward to that. (I've wanted for a long time to see the Mesquita at Cordoba, and the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona.)

How are things with you?
