FTR ... in Oz we just saw:
Buffy: the ep where CoW got blown out of the paddock and Spike got sliced to bring forth The Vampire.
Angel: the ep where Electro-chick reappeared, Manny got splattered and we got told Angelus was the cause of The Beast.

Not as bad as Londoners make out. And the buses are great.
I live in a city known in the high legends of the age as Corescant it's over-rated and a bit of a dump. I'd like to move all the bollards and lamps impeding progress to the rear of the pavement, reverse the flow of traffic and establish the cycle lanes as being more than pretty pictures of cycles painted on the road...
Edit: and the moon on a silver platter. The cycle lane bit I am working on dodging buses and cabs in FUN.
evil jimi, I just edited your post to close the t font tags. You may want to use the "s" quickedit for whitefont (details in the link above the posting box) since it makes it impossible to leave the tag unclosed.
amych ... I went and edited myself. Technically, I didn't actually leave the tag open. I just closed it with the wrong close-tag. ;)
Evil jimi, you know Piper can blow up evil people without even trying so why bother?
Piper Laurie can do that? I just thought she excelled in being a generally evil redhead.
Although I understand the Underground itself is shite these days
Really? Howso?
In DC, they keep talking about a theoretical "purple line" (all our lines are by color), that would connect the outer edges of the other lines together. But I think it'll never get built.
Ah - that's why my post was whited-out.
And Zoe, do you live in Edinburgh? I like the town, even if it does smell of weetabix.
I hate to dump on Sydney (NB that's obviously not true), but: is it just me, or does Sydney have the most weird-looking and confusing rail map in the world? Whenever I'm there it takes me endless trial and error to figure out which line I'm actually supposed to be catching. It also doesn't help that what's called, say, the "Inner West line" on the map will be called something totally different on platform signs!
