120 for se asia and only 2 wrong for USA, I'm impressed. I fact I thought the game was broken because it kept saying that I was correct.
Eta, my atlas would've been a big help for the SE Asia quiz, it still shows Fr Indochina, Burma, Siam, and Malay States.
I am a pathetic world citizen. I scored crap on everything but the US, in which I kicked total ass.

OK, only two mistakes in name that state, but the second one was less forgivable...I thought South Dakota was Missouri !

I do my best. However, I linked that before I read any of the 'poems' concerned. We may be more in 'doggeral' territory (I think it's somewhere in Asia, but I couldn't be sure.)
West Africa is very hard. Because there is an Equitoreal Guinea; a Guinea; and a Guinea Bissau. I did get Nigeria, Cote D'Ivoire and Ghana right, because famous people come from there, and the Gambia, because there are not many countries shapes like a snake. And Burkina Faso, because how can you forget a country whose main city is Ougadougou?
Southeast Asia I did pretty well, and most of the rest of Africa is big countries. For several years of my childhood, I would get 48/50 on state tests, because I couldn't for the life of me distinguish between Kansas and Nebraska. Now I'm an adult, I realize there's no good reason to distinguish between them, except for college basketball purposes.
Cindy, Bahrain was the almost invisible island dot just above Qatar.
I went back and figured it out later, after I saw posts. That dot looked like it turned yellow after I filled in Qatar, and it tricked me. Tricksey Bahrain.
I got 110 out of 130 on the SE Asian quiz. That was a pleasant surprise. The US state one should have been easy for US-ers, because the right one was always a pretty obvious choice, but I wouldn't expect unAmericans to know that. Nobody should feel badly about that one.
I got 100 out of 150 on the N. Africa quiz. *hangs head* I didn't try the others. I was ashamed enough of that one.
ooh, ohh, can I namedrop descendants of famous people? Thanks to my private high school, I have met: Alvaro de Orleans-Bourbon (no joke), Ben Walton (grandson of Sam). Ivanka Trump was a contemporary of my brother. And a great-grandson of FDR is an excellent classical archaeologist I know, and a really nice guy, too, who is very sensitive about his last name.
I was excellent at geography in the 7th grade. I've forgotten a lot.
