Oh, I get it. You just don't like who did the rescuing, that's all. Wishin' I was your boyfriend what's-his-height. Oh wait, he's run off.

with a gleam in my eye, and an almost airtight alibi

I went to college with a member of the Greek ex-royal family -- she was listed in the school phone book as "Greece, Alexandra."

If I only had a brain...

Cool. I went to school with a Rockefeller, but I never met him.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I knew one of the Rhodes for whom Zimbabwe used to be named.

He was incredibly annoying and smug.

I got the Africa questions on that quiz right, and the -stan ones, like many here, terribly terribly wrong.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I sorta danced with a Vanderbilt. He later killed himself, very sad.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My "boyfriend" in preschool was heir to Sears, Roebuck on one side of his family and the other side was one of the old banking families (Warburgs? Schiffs? I don't remember which one, except that it wasn't the Rothchilds.) He was three at the time, and I was two. He decided that he was my "boyfriend," which meant that he followed me everywhere and wouldn't let anyone come near me because they might hurt me (this started after another girl bit me), and told me that I was too little to use the slide because it was dangerous.

OK, wow, I got more of the middle eastern ones than I expected, but...geez.

(surprisingly, I got a few by thinking of news stories I'd read, and going "OK, hmm, I know turkey has to be there because it fights with greece, over cyprus which is the island in the middle, and jordan gets refugees so it has to be...here...")

(ok, now I'm REALLY confused...it looks like they're all filled in, but I have Bahrain leftover!!)
