Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Thanks for the info on Denton, John.

So hands up who thought the girl last night, was going to be a Sunnydale version of the Turkish and German girls?

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

But how good/crappy is 19,000 Pounds for a salary? I know the cost of living in London is insane, is that doable?

I was on £20,000 when I was down in London 2 years ago. I lived in a house share. It's not going to be a luxurious existence, but it's doable, and I bet it'd be a cracking job. Plus, if it's actually at the National Theatre, that's a lovely bit of London. One of my favourites. On the other hand, it's Zone One, I think, so that's going to cost you a lot in travel expenses. Pros and cons.

Well, hello fellow unAmericans, especially you overseas unAmericans.

You see, it is all your fault. What, you ask? Okay, it's not your fault I went to Sugar Mountain. I had a craving, I bought candy. But it is your fault I am now the proud (?) owner of a package of Tim Tams. I haven't tried them yet, but I will bite the ends off and suck some coffee through them, as I have heard is the proper way to eat them.

But I just wanted you all to know. Your. Fault.

Let me just say that popularity with people on public transportation does not equal literary respect. --Jesse

Warning to Aussies: in the unlikely event that any of you read WHO magazine (look, my flatmate buys it, OK?), do not under ANY circumstances read the article on Angel that accompanies this week's SMG/Buffy article. It's spoilery as fuck. I'm mad.

Laura - Mar 07, 2003 10:06:40 pm PST #2393 of 9843
Our wings are not tired.

It's a global problem Angus. It seems one has to buy their head in the sand to avoid spoilerific press lately.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Laura speaks the truth, Angus. The official Buffy magazine put two huge ass spoilers on its cover a couple of months ago, and then the newstands all decided to put that issue right out front on their racks where you couldn't possibly miss it.

No other candidate is asking the hard questions, like "Did geophysicists assassinate Jim Henson?" or "Why is there hydrogen in America's water supply?" --defective yeti

Allowing for the possibility that they might be pulling our legs, I think all the Murricans who claimed they would never be in need of an English-to-English translator ought to be humbled by these.

nether throat n. In farting, the poot chute; botty bugle. As in “Pardon me while I clear my nether throat”.
