Just found out, The Office starts on the ABC tonight. At first I thought it was going to clash with Buffy but it's on at 10PM. w00t!

ABC?
Edit
Duh. Australia as compared to American in the A of ABC
Superexcited for new Buffy! Only four hours to go...
While in the supermarket today, I noted some other flavors of milk: mocha, chocolate/honeycomb, and vanilla. None of which sound too bad, but I think I'll stick with plain or chocolate, thanks.
Angus, are you baffled that people put maple syrup on their pancakes, or merely that they extend the syrup to the meat products as well? For the record, I like my turkey sausages smothered in syrup; don't know about bacon, as it's been years since I've had it.
For me, it's the combination of salty and sweet foods! Not to mention the textures.. crunchy/chewy with sticky/runny?
Sure, I can think of combinations which work, but they're all chocolate bars. Hmm, I wonder if this has any relation to us (Aussies) not being brought up on peanut butter and jam sandwiches?
Gammon with honey and pineapple.
Damnit, if anything could make me eat meat again, it would be that.
The salty/sweet combo is yummmmmmmy!
Re: Oreos: the POINT of eating Oreos is to dunk them in milk (PLAIN milk!) until they are so soggy you have to dig them out with a spoon. Deposit in mouth. Consume entire box. Repeat.

I'm as English as you like, but when I was five years old and went to the US for the first time, pancakes'n'maplesyrup'n'bacon was a tastebud revelation. Mmmmmmm. But then, I'm very partial to that salt/sweet thing. It's what I love about Digestive biscuits. It's a yin/yang flavour whammy.
Also the crunchy/gooey dichotomy - makes me a happy bunny. Thus Haagen Dazs Pralines'n'Cream remains my favourite, despite the loveliness of many other flavours, because it weds salt with sweet and gooey with crunchy in a fashion that makes me very, very happy.
....Mmmmmmm

Have just seen "Beneath Me". I can't quite articulate why, but I was absolutely bawling at the end. Brilliant stuff.
