Kate ... no worries. I just thought I'd say something in case Angus and plasmo didn't read your post in time. I know it's too late for Min and John if they haven't taped it b/c they saw the ep last night. Sydney and Brisbane get it Monday nights and the rest of us get it on Tuesdays.
Also, if you needed the tape, I'd have to let them know before 5pm tuesday, so they can nip down to the shop and grab a new video tape. No great dramas, though b/c they've done it plenty of times for me in the past. :)

Ah! Although I'm actually talking about next week's episode, not this week's. I'll be here tomorrow, but by next week, I should be on my way over East.
No worries! (I can't decide whether I find the overuse of that phrase here to be charming or annoying.)
In other news, I think spearmint milk has to be one of the most disgusting concoctions you Aussies have ever come up with. Good god!

Kate! How goes the planning? Are you going to make it to Uluru?
I tape
Buffy,
but should my VCR, plasmo, Angus, and John all fail, I also have it on the computer.
I've never heard of spearmint milk, but right now I'm watching my friend make a Pie Floater, and it's rapidly gaining #1 spot on my Disgusting Foods chart. And he expects me to try it. Eeek.
Spearmint milk sounds gross. But, I think that anything with that artificial mint flavor is disgusting. I can deal with mint leaves in some food, but not the flavor that they use in candy and toothpaste and stuff like that.
That pie floater looks sort of interesting. I think it would look OK without the ketchup.
Urk. Spearmint makes me gag-- even the smell of it, though I like peppermint just fine.
My only knowlege of the pie floater comes from Terry Pratchett, and up until right now I thought he made it up.
Min!
That's all I got. But I haven't seen you in a while.
Kate! How goes the planning? Are you going to make it to Uluru?
Don't think I'll make it to Uluru--it seems too difficult and expensive for a solo traveller, and there's other stuff I'd rather do with you and the other East Coasters. Which reminds me that my tentative plans are to arrive on your doorstep on Sunday, March 22, and stay for two weeks or until you kick me out. :-) How's that sound?
Pie floater--ugh. I should have known what to expect, given that the URL of the link begins with www.lard.net.
I wonder if spearmint milk is just a WA thing? The first time I saw it in the grocery store, I think I nearly recoiled.
Pratchett's
The Last Continent
really *is* funny because it's true.
Floater: Ok, it doesn't smell too icky. But I have mushy food issues, and those peas look awfully mushy.

Huh. That's... kinda good. Really weird and wrong texturally, but the taste isn't bad. Don't think it's going to be a favoured food of mine though.
David! I've been busy doing the books for the family property, which means no Buffistas. Though every time I entered in the BAD tax, I muttered "BAD tax, no biscuit!", which kept me amused, if not sane.
Kate, you mean Sunday, March 23? Because that's just fine. I'll be out Saturday night, if you meant the 22nd, but if you arrived before 5 pm so I could let you in it wouldn't be a problem. And two weeks or until you get bored is just dandy. ;)
