How can the square root of two be a ratio if it isn't a rational number?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

A ratio doesn't have to be the ratio of two integers. There's no real problem with them being irrational numbers.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

The `golden ratio' isn't rational, either. [IIRC, it's (1+sqrt(5))/2.]

I didn't jump to conclusions. I took a small step, and conclusions there were. -Buffy

Billytea, The Democratic Republic of Congo does have a postal service, my friend is living and working there, but it is not very good (go figure). I am a huge Buffy fan exhiled by the US government to Guinea, in West Africa. Hope to meet some worldly Buffy fans.

So, Unamerican but not by choice, huh?

Welcome to Buffistas, guineagal! Do you manage to get Buffy in Guinea?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

guineagal, I hope you weren't exiled because of your Buffy-liking! That would be daunting news to all of us! :-)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We so need a map of posters. This is too cool.

I may have spent too long looking at sites which sell pretty pictures to sick on your walls. I read ita's post and wondered why we'd need to map where there where posters, and then started on a train of thought all about maybe its'd got very obssesive about Legolas posters, and she wanted to know where they all were.

And then I read it again, and went, oh! Duh.

Yeah- 'Where in the World? Buffistas' would be cool.

I think a map was worked on, but not completed, at some point in the past.

Min, I think. Now I'm dizzy, what with Spain, and Guinea, and Malta, and ... wow.
