Lurching from one disaster to the next.

According to Joss.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Either way, he gets angry if he's made to wear pants.

t giggling like a twelve-year-old.

Dude, that's wonderful. It's like The Incredible Hulk, or something. Only pornier. "Don't make me wear pants. You won't like me when I wear pants."

And I love the guilty way that you added "According to Joss" there. Bwah.

seriously, though, the Jossentary for "Innocence" is everything a commentary should be; funny, insightful, reverant, irreverant. His deep love for all his actors -- especially Sarah and Alyson -- and crew is clearly evident, as is his love of the show and the genre(s) and television/movie-making in general. Worth the price of the DVD alone.

Damn you, wee Jimi. I have seasons 1-5 of BtVS on video (boxed sets) and seasons 1-2 of AtS, and I crave the DVDs, despite my lack of, oh, a DVD Player. Crave them, I tell you. For their commentaries.

la la la, I can't hear you.

t /tempted.

Fay ... I'll be honest and say, I, personally, did not think much of the other commentaries. Joss' commentaries for WttHM and "The Harvest" are fine, though not as detailed as the "Innocence" commentary. Marti Noxon's commentaries for WML Pts 1 & 2 are pretty good but the commentaries by Fury, Espenson, Greenwalt and Petrie were so boring I turned them off after 10 or so minutes.

Roguish Laird

I do love the Joss commentary moment from the end of "The Harvest" (paraphrasing):

And now we come to the most wonderful thing about this episode...

[Cut to "Created By Joss Whedon"]

...Me.

heh ... yeah, that got a [manly] shriek of laughter from me when he casually popped it in.

ok, that sounds pornier than it was meant too.

Bill, my friend, strange deeds are afoot at the Circle K.

Greenwalt's commentary was AWFUL! Makes me worry what the Angel DVDs will be like.
