It's not terribly clear. There seem to be 5 boys and 5 girls per year per house, which means 70 per house and 280 in the school. But I won't swear to that.

Harry, Ron, Hermione, the rest of the Weasley family -- all in Gryffendor, NOT Hufflepuff.
