t theory The First is playing. Having fun with recreating Buffy's first death by drowning with something it can safely not kill by doing so. See: Dolly comment. Spike is a tool to it. It's Buffy that the first wants, and Buffy it's playing at killing by messing with the last vamp to take a sip of her blood. Blood that brought up the Uber Vamp, much like it brought up the Master. It's always got to be blah blah blah. Anyhow, you can't fit an oil derrick in the basement, so it's limited to pond play. t /theory.
