Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Rackenfraken computer ate my post. Posting this for connie's and then back for Nicole's and subsequent.

What are we going to do with thirty some war horses?"

"eBay?" Buffy said without thinking.

snorfle!

Her mind shied away from the whole thing of Xander and Anya and what Xander had done in the night. "

Stray quotes marks at the end of the last line in post # 6697

A couple of somebody's

Would be "somebodies", I think.

Punctuation otherwise, okey dokey.

Storywise--wow. I waited and wanted the end, and it was grand, as was the whole long tale! But now--it's over! No! But wait--

know there was a sequel coming

Yay! WooHoo!

When?

More to connie. I've said before, your version has replaced (rewritten?) canon for me. This was so much better than what we actually got. Thank you.

Nicole, great Faith, you captured her both physically and vocally, I think.

The piece is too short to tell for sure. translation: write more.

Deb, pages read, you have email.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Bev, got it, and thanks. Blessed be, between you and Plei.

Just posted in Great Write; my editor is in the office for some reason.

Always Anti-fascist!

Buffy's hardest, for me. Maybe her language isn't raunchy enough.:)

I never use Council of Watchers, because it's pretty clearly "Watchers' Council" in the text.

I found "Council of Watchers" in Checkpoint and Revelations, through Mr. Pointy. Mr. Pointy only came up with 22 scripts with the word "council" at all (although "council" is used multiple times in many of those scripts). I agree "Council of Watchers" is less common, but I like it better. So there. :-P

>Though, 99% of the time, I just use the Council.

Most of the time, the scripts do, too.

Sometimes, too much swearing from BtVS characters takes me out of the moment. I am not against it, by any means, but it has to be just so, for it to sound right to me. I don't object to it on priciple. This isn't a case of "oh my virgin eyes are so offended," but rather, because we seldom hear them swear, and when they do, the swears are mild enough to air on TV at 8pm, I'm just not used to it.

I didn't mean to imply they don't use Watcher's Council (which I do think ought to be Watchers'). I just meant they also use Council of...

Argh. I'm in over-splainy mode. Shutting up now.

I know what you mean, Cindy. But I have to claim a Faith-exemption.(Heh...I'm like the Church of Dirty Words.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Watchers' Council makes sense. It belongs to a whole lot of them. Just one Watcher wouldn't have a Council.
