This is what happens when Tara LJC jumps me on AIM and talks Firefly. I write fic unexpectedly.
River. 400 words on dreams. I have gone out.
Would post it here, only there are some minor spoilers for unaired eps.
'Smile Time'
Where the Buffistas let their fanfic creative juices flow. May contain erotica.

oh, shrift. And I've never even seen thirty seconds of Firefly.
This:
her sight thrums with joy and flaws
So very lovely.
I have typed for 25 frickin' years and still with the typos...it's scandalous.Ok, I'll fix it before I get distracted by some shiny object.Done, and done. It's like I have brain damage or something...no, wait.
So very lovely.
Muchas gracias, Deb!
It was weird. River hijacked my brain while I was in the middle of writing Krycek. "A schizophrenic psychic and a sociopathic spy walk into a bar..."
"A schizophrenic psychic and a sociopathic spy walk into a bar..."
No, no. Victor needs to write that one.

No, no. Victor needs to write that one.
Dear God. I think I AM writing that one!
PLEEEEEEEI!
So is Wes back at his apartment, post-Buffy getting off without him?
Oh, yes.
He's written in cursive with a 2.5 pencil at the moment.
And interrupted occasionally by the all-human AU Spike/Lorne plotting.
Hey, ye of deep instincts when it comes to our equine friends, a fiction (as opposed to fic) related query.
Remember Lord Callowen's horse in "Matty"? The grey? Lothian?
I have Charlotte, his daughter, on horseback at the moment, cantering across several acres of the Callowen lands to go visit the Lady Susanna's mausoleum. Remembering that she's a big girl - six foot tall in her bare feet - and essentially raised on horseback, what do you think she'd be riding? And if the lord of the manor's big gelding is called Lothian, what on earth would Char's mount be?
The horse isn't a throwaway; it's about to go nuts when it gets close to a certain patch of ground, and Char's going to have to fight to control it and not get herself badly dinged up.

Poor Wesley. Good thing he seems to like suffering.
