Poll: Would any of you be annoyed, even a little bit, by the referring to the vampire minions as "minions" in the text of the story? I wanna use it, and there seems to be a little canonical support, but I'm also worried my head is just colored by the WOFverse.

I think minions is used in the general term. Folks not empowered enough to be henchmen. So there's no reason you can't use it.
Now, minon childer -- that's a whole different coinage.
