Buffista Fic: It Could Be Plot Bunnies
Where the Buffistas let their fanfic creative juices flow. May contain erotica.
You know what really blows my mind about erika's piece?
The seamless transition of the entire squad to Sunnydale, complete with the attitudes and the lack of surprise. I mean, you could actually do a TV show on the basis of this piece.
I can't wait to hear Frank waxing grim and lyrical on the subject of a copshop situated on a hellmouth. This, after all, is the man who made that brilliant comment about "going to Catholic school for the first seven years, the nuns made me feel all safe and sheltered, then they sent me off to the Jesuits and I haven't felt safe since."
Thanks, lisah. That would rock. I would love to visit "Charm City"(And the ironic fingerquotes, not mine, naturally. I just hear it that way, now.)
Yeah, I figure drug dealing, transvestite hookers or Evil Undead, it's just another day at the office.Besides, even if they were completely stunned, they'd never let it show, anyway. Not till they went home at night.(But initially, I did have more of a portally concept that I'm glad I didn't use. The AU has been more effective.)Especially since this all came from "What if Sunnydale PD wasn't 'deeply stupid'?But nobody answered my question, she said, greedily. How would they bring Angelus in?
I would love to visit "Charm City"
And we'd love to have you visit!
Fic-ma would be greatly appreciated, by the way. I've got several pieces I'm working on, and I'm stalled on each and every one.
Definite ficma from the rookie...before this, I had fictus interruptus.
Another thing I will do one day is write a fic with Kay as acentral character that a. Doesn't make her Mary Sue with a gun, despite my Hair Envy B. Lets her say "Hmm? and "Uh huh" without sounding like that guy from "Sling Blade". Cause ok, she says that a lot, but it's not like a tic, huh? Some people have no idea what talking sounds like, says Vanity Gal.
Note: Because I am a feedback slut, part of the 5 things Anya story is up in my Livejournal. It's quite draftish, but it amuses me.
Oh. I loved it, Lyra J. Don't change anything. You threw me a curve when Will turned up Vengeance Demon, but in a good way.
Anya/Giles!! Lyra, I love it sooo much. I wanna marry it and have a million of its babies.
Thanks Kat, erika! Appreciate it.
erika, do you think Vengeance!Willow came about too suddenly? I was kind of worrying about the whole concept, but .... it had to be done.
I don't know. Maybe a few sentences about the transformation would help. The transition seemed a little fast. But other than that, I was very involved with Anya's other lives and how she did some of the same things, physically, like put things in her skirts. Also, that Anya and Giles got married in the Tabula Rasa-verse.
It took ten uniforms to shackle Angelus and bring him in. Eight would be coming back; four with severe lacerations. The two dead men had five children between them, but the Medical Examiner had an answer for all of those ruptured jugular veins.Nobody knew whather to be glad they weren't living in an elevated birth-defect cluster or scared of the things that go bump in the night.
Pembleton hated to admit it, but he felt some responsibility for the officers'deaths. Of course, in the end, it wasn't Frank's fault that the mayor couldn't envision a situation where SWAT and Animal Control might have to work together, but Frank did put the full force of his reputation behind arguing against a tranquilized Angelus.
"I want to make the bastard pay. Don't want him to miss a minute of what he's got coming, Gee."
And the lieutenant had trusted him and reluctantly agreed. And Frank had been so arrogant. How many times had he warned Tim about that hero crap? And now innocent people were having to pay for his mistake, two with their lives, so he could have his moment in the Box. He had no choice but to make sure it was worth it.
