Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

Up with the sun

Is anyone up to beta a "Five Things That Never Happened to Anya"? It's 3,500 words.

Always Anti-fascist!

Ok, but you might want more of a stickler type to go over it, along with me. I'm Queen of the Canon Disparity, apparently:)If you'd like, send it to my profile address.

Always Anti-fascist!

I promise I'll get to the dramatic part soon. For now, more squadroom chit-chat.
"So, Bayliss, did Buffy 'vant to suck your blood?" Munch does an awful Dracula impression.

"No. She fights bloodsuckers, but she isn't one." Tim says.

"I don't get that. Why suck blood? California cuisine isn't that awful."
"I guess they need it to live."
"I would not let anybody suck my blood," Munch says, "That's got to be a total violation. I might make an exception for Felicia though which is ironic because that is an excellent metaphor for that whole relationship."
"Oh no," Bolander said. "He's started the Felicia stories again."
"What about you, Stan? Would you let somebody suck your blood to live?"
"Feels like the ex-wife got it already, Munch."
"I hear that. Frank, would you let somebody feed off your blood?"

"For my wife? In a heartbeat. For Bayliss, here, in the line of duty. Or if he asked nicely."

" That's ok, Frank. I'll pass."

"Your turn, Tim." Munch said.

"No, I don't think so."

"A man after my own heart," Kay said. "I don't even let people drink out of my glass."

"I don't believe him," Pembleton said. "I think the hardest part for Tim would be keeping him from draining himself. Because Tim's not like the rest of us, oh no. Not him. Tim wants to be a hero."

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

OK, there is not one single false not in that part, erika. Every character is spot-on.

You need a space in "He'sstarted the Felicia stories again."

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

"I don't believe him," Pembleton said. "I think the hardest part for Tim would be keeping him from draining himself. Because Tim's not like the rest of us, oh no. Not him. Tim wants to be a hero."

This breaks my heart, because I can't not think about the final Frank'n'Tim scene in the H:LotS movie.

As Deb said, erika, you got the voices exactly right.

Funny. Cause I missed that, kind of, in favor of "Buffy's not like the rest of us. She's a hero." But, yeah, that last scene? Sniff. (If I'd been in Pembleton's place, I'd not have said anything, but my morality is more...elastic than his.Especially with my friends. I would take that to my grave with me. But I'm not Frank. I just play him on the internet.) And if feedback really does "make you sexy" you guys have been like Spike/Mrs. Peel sandwich.Thanks.Andbecause you've not heard enough me lately, Homicide detectives are not usually present for the leading away in handcuffs thing, or are they? Cause Lenny and Whoever do it sometimes. But Frank N Tim, NSM. And in the book "Homicide...Etc., they're pretty specific about talking about "uniforms" in that context.(Can you tell I want a shortcut to put Angelus in the Box? Cause I do. And I haven't written a fight scene since I was 10 and that one involved lightsabers.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Having BtVS done by the Muppets crossing my idle fancy/keeping me from job hunting.

It's time to make some stakes up
It's time to fight the fight.
It's time to make like Buffy
On the Muppet Show tonight!

Hmmm.

Kermit the Vampire Slayer? Miss Piggy?

Rowlf is Xander....or would Fozzie be better?

Dr. Teeth or Gonzo as Giles?

No direct comparisons in the major characters, but lots of various muppets to take up the slack.

Of course, Kermit could be Spike, with Miss Piggy as Harmony....

I'm thinking of Animal saying "Vam pi Errr! Vam pi Errr! Arrrrrgh!"

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Fozzie is a total Andrew, IMO.

Punishingly Intricate

This is my first time posting in here but, erika, i've been loving your Buffy/H:LotS so much I had to pipe up!

If you ever make it to Baltimore, you'll get a D-Lux Homicide Highlights tour courtesy of me. I'm in line for my dad's dvds. I can't wait to see the eps again now that I'm really familiar with the town.

Now that I'm posting here it occurs to me that I had a Buffy crossover dream the other night that could make a really creepy fic. It was the Buffy crew in 28 Days Later-land. I woke up screaming (in my head) "THEY'RE NOT ZOMBIES, THEY'RE VAMPIRES!!!!"

(not sure of spoiler etiquette for movies...thinking it has something to do with release date. But good excuse to try to white font for the first time)
