Yeah, thanks! So glad you like it. I really need to read "Sandman" like Fay (almost typed Kay...you know you spend too much time in fiction when...) needs to watcb Homicide.

Buffista Fic: It Could Be Plot Bunnies
Where the Buffistas let their fanfic creative juices flow. May contain erotica.
The people in the pictures are Tara and Anya.
Oh! Two separate pics. I was "seeing" a Buffy/Willow/Xander picture in my head for some reason.
I got that it was post-Grave.
Hard to be clear in a hundred words. Well, no, not hard, but hard to be evocative AND clear in a hundred words.
Is anyone up to beta a "Five Things That Never Happened to Anya"? It's 3,500 words.
Ok, but you might want more of a stickler type to go over it, along with me. I'm Queen of the Canon Disparity, apparently:)If you'd like, send it to my profile address.
Thanks, Erika, I'll send it over.
I promise I'll get to the dramatic part soon. For now, more squadroom chit-chat.
"So, Bayliss, did Buffy 'vant to suck your blood?" Munch does an awful Dracula impression.
"No. She fights bloodsuckers, but she isn't one." Tim says.
"I don't get that. Why suck blood? California cuisine isn't that awful."
"I guess they need it to live."
"I would not let anybody suck my blood," Munch says, "That's got to be a total violation. I might make an exception for Felicia though which is ironic because that is an excellent metaphor for that whole relationship."
"Oh no," Bolander said. "He's started the Felicia stories again."
"What about you, Stan? Would you let somebody suck your blood to live?"
"Feels like the ex-wife got it already, Munch."
"I hear that. Frank, would you let somebody feed off your blood?"
"For my wife? In a heartbeat. For Bayliss, here, in the line of duty. Or if he asked nicely."
"
That's ok, Frank. I'll pass."
"Your turn, Tim." Munch said.
"No, I don't think so."
"A man after my own heart," Kay said. "I don't even let people drink out of my glass."
"I don't believe him," Pembleton said. "I think the hardest part for Tim would be keeping him from draining himself. Because Tim's not like the rest of us, oh no. Not him. Tim wants to be a hero."
OK, there is not one single false not in that part, erika. Every character is spot-on.
You need a space in "He'sstarted the Felicia stories again."
"I don't believe him," Pembleton said. "I think the hardest part for Tim would be keeping him from draining himself. Because Tim's not like the rest of us, oh no. Not him. Tim wants to be a hero."
This breaks my heart, because I can't not think about the final Frank'n'Tim scene in the H:LotS movie.
As Deb said, erika, you got the voices exactly right.
Funny. Cause I missed that, kind of, in favor of "Buffy's not like the rest of us. She's a hero." But, yeah, that last scene? Sniff. (If I'd been in Pembleton's place, I'd not have said anything, but my morality is more...elastic than his.Especially with my friends. I would take that to my grave with me. But I'm not Frank. I just play him on the internet.) And if feedback really does "make you sexy" you guys have been like Spike/Mrs. Peel sandwich.Thanks.Andbecause you've not heard enough me lately, Homicide detectives are not usually present for the leading away in handcuffs thing, or are they? Cause Lenny and Whoever do it sometimes. But Frank N Tim, NSM. And in the book "Homicide...Etc., they're pretty specific about talking about "uniforms" in that context.(Can you tell I want a shortcut to put Angelus in the Box? Cause I do. And I haven't written a fight scene since I was 10 and that one involved lightsabers.
