This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

But in this world, he exists to rip the scab off a wound

Oh, man.

Always Anti-fascist!

A little too much, yeah? But a lot of what's in Tim's head is a little too much...so it might work.( This isn't that false modesty stuff.I really have doubts about that.)We're just big drama queens, me and Timmy.

You have the Bayliss voice perfectly down.

(off to deal with BBQ, so hopefully more awaiting me later...)

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

I liked that line a lot.

I missed something though, I think. Does he know Buffy's the slayer and what that means?

Always Anti-fascist!

That is both flattering and scary, Deb. And makes the new tag fit perfectly.Scary in the "gee, maybe therapy didn't take," sense. ETA: Deena, Giles gave him the spiel offscreen. But he doesn't quite " get it" internally yet I would guess. He has to see for himself a lot. Also, detectives are VERY suspicious.(So I've read, anyway.) Speaking of, there's a whole universe of physical things that I don't know to describe. What would be a simple move that Buffy could use as "an object lesson" that would knock Tim flat, but would not incapacitate him? He's a cop, but the academy's daily workouts are kind of Of The Past. Mostly he sits at his desk, or in the car, and obsesses.ETA; ita would know. And she knows who Tim is.Or, she could "just" be too fast for him...leave him huffing and puffing(Not in a shippy way, I hasten to add.)

Joyce . . . Joyce . . . call me coward, but I'm glad I haven't killed her in the V!Giles series.

A little thing, a mean little thing. Because I was in the mood to take something pretty and make it cry.

No, it's not Xander. Or Wesley.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I *just* read that in your LJ, Connie, and replied there.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Connie, that's evil. GOOD, but evil.

Also:

am I wrong to envision Malcolm as being Malcom in the Middle. Does that make me some kind of sick?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Connie, that is wonderful and very creepy.
