quickie reconstruct - Elena, I always wondered why everyone forgave Giles so easily for what he did to Buffy on the COW's orders.
SA, oh yeah.
Fay, I lovelovelove your Faith.

The Crusamumblintonable? I'm not sure that anyone knew the full details of it aside from Buffy. I mean, they knew about it, and Joyce had a very close view of it, but while they knew that Giles got fired because of it, did they really know how complicit hee was in it? Because, as far as we saw, she never told anyone what Riley was really doing with the vamp!Whores... Because no way they should have been as nice to Riley as all they were when he came back.
And that was a terribly incoherent post. What I mean is, Buffy doesn't have the world's greatest track record when it comes to full disclosure.
True, but he came back with KickassSuperheroine!Wife, so I guess that absolved him, or something.
Right. Because an ex-boyfriend getting married to a perfect woman and having a perfect marriage makes you feel better about him getting suck jobs from vampire whores. Not that I speak from experience on this.
Hey, Plei. The Finalized version of "The Resurrection Gambit" is insent.
The beast finally came in at 28 pages. It's not fan fic. It's a bloody novella.

Um, you'd have to take that one up with Joss. My entire point was that it sure as shit wouldn't absolve in my world, but it seemed to in the Jossiverse.
Of course, in my world, Spike would have eaten his head.

It's a bloody good fanfic novella.
Drusilla? Drusilla was locked up. Nothing would help her, but Oz still sat with her almost every day. He seemed to think she wasn’t a lost cause. He’d just sit there, and listen while she ranted at him. This seemed to soothe her.
I love the idea of Oz just sitting with Dru and listening to her. Similar to how he used to listen to Willow babble until she quieted down. It just fits.
Can't wait for the link so I can go back and read it all again.
Oh, sure, Deb. I was mocking the Jossverse, not you.
