Oh, I get it. You just don't like who did the rescuing, that's all. Wishin' I was your boyfriend what's-his-height. Oh wait, he's run off.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Am-Chau, I think it would be hi-larious to see what would happen if Jayne and/or Simon were subjected to Vogon poetry.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Okay, I hereby challenge folks to write CWDP stories.

You can write the conversation for any character that wasn't shown on air. So that would be Giles, Xander, and Anya. Anyone I'm missing?

This doesn't make me want to write a conversation with a dead person -- it makes me want to write a G/X/A threesome. Really.

I'm feeling irreverent; what can I say?

The Farscape Friday drabble for this week is what happened to any of the characters over the "summer" before S4 -- and all I want to write is Aeryn Sun at a beauty parlor, getting hair extensions and instructions on how to use a flattening iron.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Deb, I was FINALLY able to read your fic all the way through, and my God it's beautiful. Loved, loved, loved it. And the ending is gorgeous.

If people are doing this--and I think they should--I like the idea of "B-Characters" being caught up in the , "having to choose sides" bit.

It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Victor, he is nice man, he say nice things!

I like the side-choosing thing as a prereq, as well. Because of the Glowing-Joyce thing to Dawn, that whole "when Buffy has to choose she won't be there for you" lie, I ended up seeing that whole concept as the sort of moral underpinning to the issue.

It really is. OK--Buffy's conversation with Holden was different, but that was on the show, and well, her name's in the title.

For the others, the FE and its minions would be mostly interested in "recruiting" allies, or demoralizing enemies. So Giles or Xander, for instance, might go in a completely different direction than, say, (and soemone can have this if they want) Rack and Amy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Amy's mother -- does she count as dead?

Actually, thinking about that? Not sure it really was all that different. Because in the end, wasn't Holden's whole thing's big acocmplishment to cast doubt in Buffy's mind about whose side Spike would fight on?

Art Crawl!!!

Well, if she wasn't dead prior Sunnydale being destroyed - - she certainly is now. (Amy's mother that is.)

sumi, that's what I was thinking. And that would make one truly terrifying little fic: Amy's mom, stuck in her trophy, seething with rage and malevolence, watching the town disappear around her....
