That was a surprisingly easy one to write. The muse poked me in the head, I opened up WordPad and wrote. And now I want to sleep.
Oh, and thanks, all.

Do you know, when you laugh with your mouth firmly shut, it does weird and painful things to your throat? I'm not sure why that struck me as funny, but I'm in real pain now.
PMM, quite sadly, I found myself duplicating your laugh while reading your post, and yuppers. You're right. Not fun.
Oh connie. mrmph, ahem.
As if the story wasn't enough, this
Giles just stood at the foot of the bed, trying to speak comforting Giles-words while Ripper raged helplessly in his eyes and his hands strangled the bars on the end of the bed.
may be one of the greatest descriptions, ever. I was going to say "I've read," or "yet written," but I think "ever" does it.
Damnit Connie - - you made me cry.
you made me cry.
Oh, good.
Yes, I am evil.

edit: Oh, and I got a review saying I was doing great until I had Xander accepting Mass Murderer Stalker Rapist etc. Spike on his left side, but I did great with all the characterizations till then.
Thanks for reading, dude.
editX2: Hey, my first kind of negative review! Neat!
Oh, Connie, you totally made me cry. It was wonderful.
smonster offered to sit with me while I read it, because she knows how attached I am to Xander. I was tough, and read it in my office by myself.

Then I read this, which made me laugh out loud. All of this happened in the span of five or six minutes or so. Whew!
