edit: Oh, and I got a review saying I was doing great until I had Xander accepting Mass Murderer Stalker Rapist etc. Spike on his left side, but I did great with all the characterizations till then.

smonster offered to sit with me while I read it, because she knows how attached I am to Xander. I was tough, and read it in my office by myself.
Read by me as "I avoid it like the plaque". Which makes me think of Xander again.
Then I read this, which made me laugh out loud. All of this happened in the span of five or six minutes or so. Whew!

Hey, a couple of helpful folks on ff.net said "Left Side" could have been really good if I'd just kept going with it, "kept typing" as one guy put it, because the story obviously is supposed to be longer. They look forward to see how I end it.
