I have two cats in my lap. This is not completely off-topic; the incredibly sweet tabby boy is called Rupert and his coal-black sister, who currently is standing on my thighs and is sucking on my face, is called Darth Willow.

It's nice to be loved by kitty cats. I like dogs more, because you can pretty much guarantee they'll love you. Cats are more independent, and I'm all about the easy lovin'.

My cat Lenny loves me so damn much. It's wonderful. In fact, it's better than the slut-love of a dog.

Me and dogs, not so much. Allergic for one thing, but also - I missed the easy love gestalt entirely. Give me a chance to earn it.

We have many many many cats. At the moment (thanks heavens for a roomy old Vic house), we have thirteen of them; an even dozen are rescues. And Drusilla is atop the monitor, staring at me suspiciously. She's well-named. Burning fishes!

I'm wanting so much to write SpikePorn, or even a goofy Spike drains Spiderman and gets his Spidey powers fic. But I started the Spike/Spiderman one, and it wants to become something else totally. No, not slash! Sort of angst-y, post-The Gift, which is somthing I swore I would never do. But that's what it wants to be. Hopefully I'll have lots of time to write this weekend
