I caught her on a park bench, making out with a *chaos* demon! Have you ever seen a chaos demon? They're all slime and antlers.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

WTF was that comment about Black History Month?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I'm watching, but we're delayed. Luckily, I am not particularly involved, so I don't care if I'm spoiled.

We just got back from a trip up to Los Osos to visit the Sis and Bro in law and the MiL and DiL. We got to see their newly renovated house (inch-square multicolored slate tile backsplash--sweeeet). We got to watch their horses playing and drive through the hills dotted with cows, see acres of vineyards and eat dinner at Avila Beach, right next to the ocean. Lovely.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ha! My work here is done.
Speaking of the weather watch and post. It is gorgeous today. I have the sliding door open and suddenly wondered what this lovely temperature actually was.

58.

When did 58 become nice? I mean, I am in sweats but it's ... nice.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I think the cold killed my digital thermometer. It says the outdoor temp is "--"

"No, trust me... It's better if I just don't tell you."

I wonder if this will go down in history as the Slippery Bowl.

Art Crawl!!!

Plasticing the windows should help but I have to say that my old boiler kept this uninsulated apartment warm enough. I think that they should have replaced it with something that works at least as well.

sumi, I just spammed your LJ with relevant links -- the Municipal Code for your town specifically says that a landlord MUST provide equipment that adequately heats the apartment. And it also defines what an "adequate" temperature is -- between 6:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m., it cannot be below 65 degrees, and between 10:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m., it cannot be below 60 degrees..

There is nothing legal about your living situation right now, and you are legally allowed to go to a hotel and take the amount out of your rent.
