You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Can you do any stupid human tricks? Ever been on TV?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Oh, I wonder if I can find a way to work that in. (Any Midwestistas who want to join in this year, btw, earlybird registration is going on.)

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

When the building next door to me caught fire the other night, I sent an email to a few people about it with the subject line "I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS I SWEAR (AGAIN)"

"I have alibis for all the suspicious fires in my neighborhood."

Brenda, tell them your job once required you to miss seeing the hot director whose play I went to today naked on stage.

Actually, Tom might be on to something. "I was inside the Dominick's when it burned down" would actually work in Chicago. It was kind of a big deal.

Most of the famous people I've met are politicians. Carter, Gore, etc. Trudeau gives me the best story though - though maybe a lot of Americans won't get how cool that was.

Never been on TV, to my knowledge.

You went to a play naked? Where'd you carry the tickets?

Bwah! Thankfully, no one was naked at this play, as it starred a number of people who never should be, and the average audience age was greater than my mom's & dad's.

It had some good points (jazzy rhythm & blues music, a really good actress cast as Benvolio) and some bad (Mercutio actor performing as if channeling Jim Carrey—it's a community theater the size of a coffee shop pal, there's no 250th row on the mezzanine for you to play to).

Because books.

brenda, what about a "when I was little I wanted to be a..." kind of thing?

Also, Sail and I think alike. I like that.
