This conversation prompted me to (finally) search around to troubleshoot. I found this article [link] and am currently running Firefox in safe mode to see if I still have trouble.

Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!
I'm a rebel. I run Firefox in Dangerous Mode, baby!
You can also go with Firefox 3.1 Beta. I've been using that for awhile (XP SP3 and Vista SP1) and it has been working really well.

You should try Fucking Suicidal Mode. It crashes your computer, but oh! What a ride!
I didn't even know that Firefox had a difficulty level setting.

Haven't tried that, although I did use Meth-Fueled Crime Spree Mode for a while....
So, restarting iTunes has not solved this problem:
"The iPod could not be synced. The required file could not be found."
Any other suggestions?
t eta Restore seems to be working - let's hope it keeps on trucking.
Argggh! I just got a huge new monitor (25.5") for my new 'puter that's been working like a charm since I built it from parts a few weeks ago. I shut down the computer, attached the new monitor, and hit the startup button and... nothing! No cpu fan, no hum, and certainly no beep. WTF? I checked and rechecked all the connections, opened up the case to look for any loose wires, but I can't find anything wrong. Could the power supply have crapped out so completely? Any suggestions on things to look for or test?
Did you try putting back the old monitor?
