'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

sumi, I do it all the time -- there's an option in your preferences under "Extending Flickr" that lets you specify which blogs you can post pictures directly to.

This may be a pro-only feature -- I dunno.

Anyway, if you have that filled in (it will need your LJ password), you get an option on each of your pictures to "blog this" and then you can fill out the optional message and post it directly.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Is it possible for me to insert a photograph from flickrr to livejournal?

For an LJ entry you should have a "blog this" link above the photo on its solo page. Since you've not set this up yet (I'm assuming), it will walk you through setting up a login, etc. The posted result looks like this.

Assuming I've read your question right.

Does anyone know how to copy and paste a bunch of small tables in word perfect at once? I have 56 tables that I have to copy from one doc to another and if I copy them all at once, it only copies text, not the table. Copying them individually is going to make me cry.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

You might be doing the "copy" part right. The problem could be in the "paste" part. Can you do a "Paste Special" that you can then select what attributes you want to paste? I don't think it's a key stroke, but digging in the EDIT menu. I think you can do it Xcel, not sure about Word Perfect.

I think it's in the copying part. Once you leave the borders of the table it stops highlighting the table structure and highlights text only.

Sue, can you copy/paste the text into WordPerfect, highlight it and then select "convert text to tables"?

Alternately, is there an intern in your office?

Sadly, I am low man on the totem.

Vortex, your idea is genius and it would have worked if it was a conventional column to rows format, but because there are some rows that have multiple columns and some with only one column, it coverts the data into very odd tables and I spend as much time reformatting than I would copying and pasting.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Has anyone here come across a fingerprint swiping deal on a new laptop? I have one on this new HP, and none of us can figure out how to turn it off, and it's making me nuts! It's right in between the two mouse buttons on the touchpad, so needless to say, I accidentally swipe it all the freaking time.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Can you try it from the other direction - copy and paste from your main document into the one that already has the tables?
