Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Has anyone here come across a fingerprint swiping deal on a new laptop? I have one on this new HP, and none of us can figure out how to turn it off, and it's making me nuts! It's right in between the two mouse buttons on the touchpad, so needless to say, I accidentally swipe it all the freaking time.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Can you try it from the other direction - copy and paste from your main document into the one that already has the tables?

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Vortex, your idea is genius and it would have worked if it was a conventional column to rows format, but because there are some rows that have multiple columns and some with only one column, it coverts the data into very odd tables and I spend as much time reformatting than I would copying and pasting.

that's probably why it pastes it as text, it's too much data for a simple cut and past.

All is well that ends in pizza.

From HP thread somewhere:

I eventually spoke to HP Support and they told me to go into the Options of HP ProtectTools Security Manager, where you can switch off the automatic capture.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

New Cray supercomputer is the fastest in the world

You think your expensive, custom-built gaming PC is powerful? You think you've got the hottest computer on the block because you can run Crysis at full specs? I'm not impressed. You want to see an impressive computer? Say hello to the Cray XT Jaguar supercomputer.

It's got some pretty mind-blowing specs: 45,000 quad-core Opteron processors, 362TB of RAM, and a 10PB (petabyte) storage array. The whole thing cooks along at a serious 1.64 petaflops. It's the fastest machine on earth being used for non-classified research, but you've got to assume there are even bigger and badder machines in the deep, secret halls of government.

Coding and Sleeping

Sure, the CPUs and RAM are impressive, but what's the video card like?

My guess is that's what the 'XT' in the name stands for. So pro'lly it has an 80x25 character green monochrome monitor.

Yeah, I think that's what finally worked, but not until I restarted the computer, which I had forgotten to do! Thanks!
