A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

so no clue what advantages it has.

I think the only real advantage is price, no?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

You can rent HD movies on the Apple TV, but you can't on a Mini.

I can use Mac Minis to create a 66-screen video wall. You know, if I wanted to.

Does anyone know how I can make designing a form in Outlook less annoying?

not use Outlook?

I wish I could help, Jessica, but until your question I didn't know Outlook forms existed. It's very confusing that they call them forms, since forms means something else entirely on the web.

I'm going to throw this out in case anyone has ever figured this one out. I cannot install Windows XP updates because Update keeps giving me the message that it can't install Windows Genuine Advantage Validation Tool (KB892130). I have done any number of things suggested online. I have turned off my virus and spyware protection. I have reloaded Update, both through the Microsoft site and manually, many times. I have made sure the ActiveX permissions can run. I have downloaded the validation tool as a separate program. Throughout all of this, I have done several diagnostics that say that yes, I have genuine Windows products.

I am actually usually fairly content with MS, but right now I hates them. My head hurts.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Ginger, I'm not sure if the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility will help with installing XP updates, but I have known it to help with other installation issues in XP, so it may be worth a try: [link]

how foolish am I to try and connect an OS9.1 mac to my little network to offload files to wipe the old machine before disposing? It's wanting AppleShare, which I don't think OS-X does anymore

Does the Mac in question have a FireWire port? You can get the files off of it by putting it in target disk mode. (Hold down the "t" key while booting)

nope, but it has (2) ADB ports! ;) I have the ethernet connection, and I can see it light up the airport when it first tries to connect. But then it times out.

All is well that ends in pizza.

OS9 to OSX is a bit tricky, but it can be done.

Let me think and google for a few.
