Yeah, I remember cassette drives, and even punch cards (though I never had to read or program with a punch card).
30 baud modems. 5" floppy drives. 8" floppy drives. Hard drives with plates the size of Miami. Commodore PETs. TRS-80s.

I think the most primitive thing I worked on, this side of a Royal Standard, was a typesetting machine with no screen and paper tape.
Orange on black text-based monitors with a slight flicker. We had a corporate monitor-flinging party when we replaced hte last of those.
Green on black.
Also of the devil.
I remember both orange on black and green on black. I was just saying how astounded I was at the first 16 color computers.
I almost bought it. Soooo tempting. Damn you poverty!! 32 GIG! Holy cow!
