I could squeeze you until you popped like warm champagne, and you'd beg me to hurt you just a little bit more.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

I'd like it to toss me my light saber.

I'd like it to toss me a beer.

...and a lightsaber.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

...to open the beer.

Our wings are not tired

I want it to toss me Leia in the slave girl bikini.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

So you impress everyone by using the MF remote control to put R2 into position.

. . .

Then you get up out of your recliner to plug in a cable.

Smoooooth...

Well, at some point, you have to plug your game console into it, too. Or your computer, to program it or display stuff from your computer.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

How about just having it toss your salad?

Here you go, MM: [link]

Although either that's a huge beer bottle, or a tiny R2.

Anyone been paying attention to Psystar and their selling of OS X on non-Apple hardware? They make noises like it's legit, and tout their better value, but System Update is broken. That's mighty sensible.

Finally got my Powerbook back from the shady repair place, and had to listen while they condescended to me and explained themselves very patiently. I had to laugh when the guy was trying to explain file permissions to me, because he couldn't actually remember "execute." Still, a point I didn't want to ask him because I'd been there way too long already--why should we be repairing permissions in OS X periodically? How are they something that drift?

Gud, BTW, the Powerbook sees Blaise as being in MSHOME and not Velvet too. I'm gonna fiddle more on the weekend.
