Pretty cool except for the part where I was really terrified and now my knees are all dizzy.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Those are nice, I guess.

But I am a simple man. Beer and games is close enough to "perfect" for me.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I don't get the moving across the room bit. If you've got a 5.1 dolby system plugged into it (one of it's "features"), how do you control the mess of cables?

brillig

I don't get the moving across the room bit.

Because if they hadn't built in the ability to move around, the first geek to buy one would have reversed engineered it to move around and made a killing in the aftermarket.

It was an optical out for Dolby 5.1. No mess. One cable.

Not that this necessarily makes the situation any better, if you're plugging in to a 5.1 system, but I think you put the R2 unit into position, then plug in your optical cable. Otherwise you just use the virtual surround housed in the droid.

So you impress everyone by using the MF remote control to put R2 into position.

. . .

Then you get up out of your recliner to plug in a cable.

Smoooooth...

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Or, you know, you get one of those rotary Imperial computer ports, and have R2 connect to that for the surround sound.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'd like it to toss me my light saber.

I'd like it to toss me a beer.
