The status is NOT quo.

I had the same experience with my Windows Mobile. I hated so much that I was happy when I accidently dropped it into a puddle.

Side note on those considering a Blackberry: they do not play nice with iCal etc., but the Blackberry Missing Sync has improved to the point that it's no longer a PITA to use.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Is this how you’ll get your newspaper In the future? Maybe, says Toshiba, the Japanese electronics firm that developed this facsimile receiver. It prints both sides of a sheet simultaneously, in six minutes. If mass-produced, the device would sell for an estimated $300.

The thing looks like a microwave.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

So, I'm really looking over what my current carrier (Alltel) has to offer.

A smart phone is going to be the best way to go. I know I'll use PDA, phone, online access, texting, bluetooth, etc. I have an 160 gig iPod so music isn't an issue. Compatibility with my PowerBook is also important.

If I stay with Alltel the choices are: BlackBerry 8703e, Moto Q, BlackBerry Pearl 8130, Palm Treo 755p, Palm Treo 700wx, HTC PPC6800, and the BlackBerry 8830 World Edition.

One of the other things to be considered is that husband is needing a new phone as well. His needs are very different than mine, and much more basic. He wants another flip phone that can send and receive calls and text messages. Because of working at the power plants, he cannot have a camera on his phone.

We have talked about having different carriers so we can each get what we want. So we could go that route, if it came down to it.

Our wings are not tired

We have one of the AT&T family talk plans with rollover minutes and it serves us very well. We both share the same pool of minutes and the second phone is only an additional $10/mo.

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

We have the Alltel version of the same thing.

Weird hack of gMail: [link]

The victim visits a page while being logged into GMail. Upon execution, the page performs a multipart/form-data POST to one of the GMail interfaces and injects a filter into the victim’s filter list. In the example above, the attacker writes a filter, which simply looks for emails with attachments and forwards them to an email of their choice. This filter will automatically transfer all emails matching the rule. Keep in mind that future emails will be forwarded as well. The attack will remain present for as long as the victim has the filter within their filter list, even if the initial vulnerability, which was the cause of the injection, is fixed by Google.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

seems my boss got an iPod Nano for xmas. Which is very funny, as he is very anti-Apple. So he's bemoaning that he has to load Apple software. Of course, he's asked my help to tutor him in the ways of iPod and iTunes. Very funny.
