Hey Hivemind: once again I have managed to accidentally hit that clever combination of keys which shows all the formatting (spaces, paragraphs etc.) in Outlook. Would anybody pretty please be able to tell me how to turn it off? It's on both my work computers now. Doh!

Sorry Plei, no offense meant. As I'm sure you know I depend on Windows OSes just as much as I do Mac. I'm holding off on the switch to Vista until more of the higher end audio interfaces are playing well with it.
