Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Is it a laser printer?

All is well that ends in pizza.

I have a couple of 1995 Apple LaserWriter 4/600 printers that just need new cartridges. One has an external localtalk to Ethernet adapter...

...and I just bought one for $11.95, shipped.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My printer came, and I'm happy with the product.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

My printer didn't come. I just today noticed there'd been a cancellation notice. I was getting set to get all up in my bank's business about the damn billing address issue resolution, when I remembered I'd accidentally entered my cel phone number instead of my company one. Rage deferred.

So I reordered, but with faster shipping since I'd been regretting taking the free choice anyway. Should be here Thursday or Friday.

I've asked this before, but now I really have time.

Since I'm unemployed, I'm doing some housecleaning, and all of my tinkering computers are over 10 years old.

If anyone has any dead or mostly dead laptops (Mac or PC) made in the last decade they would like to get rid of, let me know.

I can't pay much, but I'll pay for postage.

Printer does not yet show as shipped. Somewhat dubious as to whether or not will arrive tomorrow.

I was startled with how fast Staples shipped for free. And Staples was the shipper.

Not to lemon in paper cut, just actually startled when the guy showed up.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Okay okay! I generally get impressed with business to business businesses because they get the whole need-it-now thing. But no go so far. I mean, it could be fine. I just feel dubious.

If it was shipped USPS, it sometimes doesn't show until after it arrives.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Shouldn't have been. If it was, it won't get to me; the United states postal service refuses to deliver to me.
