Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I've updated my iPhone to iOS 7.

I did. Only complaint other than "Different. It is different!!!" is that it seems to think my AppleID is an old email that is definitely NOT my AppleID and it doesn't want to let me change it at alllllll.

I am dealing with it later.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm not supposed to upgrade the phone until corporate IT tells me it's ok

Yeah, I can't upgrade my iPad until IT gives the green light. (And I'm not going to bother with the phone, since I'm planning to replace it soon.)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm running it on an iPad 2 right now, AIFG. Or at least it's running fine with no issues I've seen yet.

I'm not that funny. It's because the internut at my house has been hella slow all day and I didn't think it went through, but that's true on all my devices, so.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

le nubian, what issues with iOS 7 on the iPad have you been hearing?

tommy, Scola summed it up, but on twitter, the tech people just kept saying that IOS on ipad was not ready for primetime. I haven't had time to check what's up yet, so I'm waiting until the weekend to check it out. Maybe I'll go to Macworld or something.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I really, really love iOS 7 on my iphone 5. The font adjustments (for readability) and typing interface alone are beyond awesome, and then you add in the navigation at the top and bottom of any screen, the amazing Airdrop, and the increased speed of the processor, and it's off the charts. I disliked the look for about five minutes until I adjusted, and now I love it.

I do recommend watching the little intro to iOS 7 video; it clarified some basics for me and eliminated a lot of frustration.

WTF AT&T, I've had this phone almost 4 years. Do not try to charge me some bullshit upgrade fee on top of the $400 I'm about to drop on the goddamn phone.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Re-installing the OS doesn't seem to have fixed it, *or* has corrected it to an intermittent rather than a progressive problem.

However, it might always have been intermittent. After ten or so minutes of not being ablel to save anything or use a number of applications I have been rebooting. Last night I just went to bed.
