Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Re-installing the OS doesn't seem to have fixed it, *or* has corrected it to an intermittent rather than a progressive problem.

However, it might always have been intermittent. After ten or so minutes of not being ablel to save anything or use a number of applications I have been rebooting. Last night I just went to bed.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I just installed the new iOS on my mini and it's behaving oddly (it keeps half-waking-up to the black screen with the apple), so, yeah, I'd wait on the tablet updates.

Our wings are not tired

My iPad 3 and iPad Mini are both working fine on iOS 7.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

WTF AT&T, I've had this phone almost 4 years. Do not try to charge me some bullshit upgrade fee on top of the $400 I'm about to drop on the goddamn phone.

Verizon wanted to do that to me yesterday when I was thinking of upgrading instead of just throwing an insurance claim on my phone (cracked screen for over a year but suddenly there were some performance issues so I couldn't keep putting it off) and it annoyed me to the point where I got my replacement phone today. The bullshit upgrade fee really annoyed me.

been trying to update my iPad3 all afternoon. It got some error halfway thru the process, and now it will not do anything. Just a pretty picture of a USB cable and the iTunes logo. iTunes says it needs to be restored. I click the "restore and update" (only option, aside from cancel). It extracts the software (which takes forever!), then has a 3004 error code. I have an appointment TUESDAY at Apple Store. Ugg. Tomorrow is too jam packed to even try (first day of welcome week at the university).

Not making me happy right now.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Anyone have any preferences for YouTube to mp3 conversion services?

Normally I wouldn't do this but I'm creating a bunch of CDs to play at my sister and her GF's wedding reception.

Thanks. I ended up using video2mp3.net as it seems faster than Clip Converter.

iPad 3 update. Took it to work, plugged it into work computer, and it is working again, now with iOS7. Still need to sync from home to get all my apps and stuff on it. But happy it's not a brick. First reactions to iOS 7 are... meh. Not a fan of the BRIGHTER borders. They really do pop, when I'm used to them receding. Time will tell.
