We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Also, is the kindle app for iphone OK? My kindle screen just perma-froze

Given it's not e-ink, yes. I love it. I also like how quickly it syncs (between browser, actual Kindle, iPhone and iPad) when I suddenly switch devices.

It's maybe too small for all of my reading needs but that is about the phone, not the Kindle app. And e-ink lack on the shiny screens, though I can totally read through the cloud Kindle thingie on the monitor for ages. I haven't picked up my actual Kindle in months.

I am pro-Kindle app.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Also, is the kindle app for iphone OK?

I love it. More than the Kindle itself, actually. (Just to provide you with a counterpoint to people who prefer the e-ink.) And the small size of the screen doesn't bother me a whit, and I am a very fast reader.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

do you think 2G of data will be enough.

I'm with Tom. I would say that if you're not streaming video over the cell network, 2 GB of data will be plenty.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

OK, I'm finally using Flickr in earnest to host and organize family photos.

I'm still organizing and uploading. What's the easiest way to move all photos from a set into another set?

Okay, now I'm in the airport and on the laptop. You can use the Batch Organizer to load the contents of a set and then add them all to a new set. You can also view the set, select photos you want to remove, and drag them down to the bottom to remove them from the set.

Yeah, I travel a lot, and sometimes have used up to a gig, but don't normally come close to 2. Usually about 500-700mb. Which is more than the 250mb limit, so... I don't usually stream video, though, other than an occasional cute thing on you tube.

And I love my Kindle for reading. I've done a bit of reading on the phone or iPad, but phone is more "only in a pinch when something happened to the kindle".

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Our household easily hits the 14 gig we have allocated, but that's our sole internet access, so it's a somewhat different matter. However, with these plans, at least the overage charges are no longer punitive. It's basically $10 a gig, which I'm fine with.
