Simon: I'm trying to put this as delicately as I can... How do I know you won't kill me in my sleep? Mal: You don't know me, son. So let me explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Yeah, I travel a lot, and sometimes have used up to a gig, but don't normally come close to 2. Usually about 500-700mb. Which is more than the 250mb limit, so... I don't usually stream video, though, other than an occasional cute thing on you tube.

And I love my Kindle for reading. I've done a bit of reading on the phone or iPad, but phone is more "only in a pinch when something happened to the kindle".

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Our household easily hits the 14 gig we have allocated, but that's our sole internet access, so it's a somewhat different matter. However, with these plans, at least the overage charges are no longer punitive. It's basically $10 a gig, which I'm fine with.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Whenever I hit limits, it is because I am tethering or sharing my plan across multiple devices.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

This is good information- thank you. Since the charges aren't ridiculous if you go over, I think it will be much better to get the smaller plan!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Sophia, I've been very pleased with Verizon in terms of reception and service. Have the 2G plan and have never had data overages. You can change your plan easily and change it back, and I've had them call me to warn me of minute overages and offer to bump my plan temporarily up and then have it automatically revert at the next bill cycle.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Verizon has been pretty good with my ipad plan. There are a couple of quirks, but none of them should apply to your iphone experience.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I feel like such a newbie. Somehow io9 posts are showing up in my Facebook News Feed. DO NOT WANT, as I already read io9 posts in Google Reader. (I must have clicked on something by mistake.)

Any ideas on how to stop this?

eta: Apparently I clicked on "Follow io9.com"? But I see no way to undo that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Have any of you Siri owners run through the scenarios in the ads? Do they work? Some giz people were saying they couldn't do the gazpacho one. And I'd just feel creeped out if the Malkovich does but...uncanny valley AI, thank god it has no face.
