No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Hello? Why am I not using hlookup? I use vlookup all the time.

I will get on that tomorrow.

Wait, will hlookup look within the string? Shit I have so little time between meetings today.

Coding and Sleeping

Even with a Sansa clip, I'd have no way to get the files from the Internet to the device since Overdrive for Mac only recognizes mp3s.

Ah, I didn't think about that aspect of the problem. Yikes, I can't really think of a way around that unless the Overdrive folks can get their app to deal with the WMA aspect, which, I don't see Apple approving an app that does WMA DRM.

No. I still think a one line macro is the simplest way to go.

I meant MS Excel. I don't know from Open Office.

Rushing to the end with a super quick question about Skype.

I'm on the line with a client and we are trying to do our session but, while I can see myself in the video screen, and I can see her, she cannot see me.

What is the simple thing I'm missing?

Hep me, hep me...please?

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Tools-->Options-->Video Settings

What items are selected?

eta: What items, for both of you? It could be a setting on the other person's Skype. One column controls who you can receive video from, and one column controls who can see your video.

I don't see Tools in the Skype menu. Call, chat, account, edit, view, window, etc.

Sounds like your Mac version looks different from my Windows version. I have a menu bar at the top with "Skype - Contacts - Conversation - Call - View - Tools - Help"

Still, check out all your menus for anything about video options. On mine, there is a setting to restrict my video to contacts only or from no one, and another setting to restrict received video from anyone/contacts/no one.
