A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I use Google Reader with Firefox & XP on a PC and haven't had any trouble with it. The missus uses Bloglines on similar hardware and likes it.

Hey. New board.

Typo Boy, Mac or PC? I love NetNewsWire on the Mac (it syncs with Google Reader so I use both, but pretty much always use NetNewsWire when I'm on the Mac partition of my laptop)

No suggestions for PC or Online.

Bonnie Fides: I do know that sometimes skype looks at your "default" camera rather than the external attached camera . If you have "furtzed with the buttons" then I presume you have already looked into that?

Typo, I've looked for a 'camera' option all over the system preferences and in searching. I can't find anything for video input selection or camera anywhere and am beginning to feel right stupid.

There has to be something spectacularly simple I'm just not getting.

OK - this is on XP, so don't know if it is the same in your OS but:

In Skype:

Tools->Options-video settings

You will see a webcam set. In mine once Video setting is selected it is in the second row of the big square on the right of the "options' window.

If you have multiple webcams available, that webcam should be an option list,where you can pick a different webcam. If not your computer is only seeing one webcam, and it is an OS problem not a skype problem. (Warning: not a skype guru, but this is how it has worked for me.)

Thanks Typo.

I found the video in options you mention within Skype but it continues to tell me that there is no camera available. This, despite both the firewire and usb cords being attached. So. It's definitely not Skype's issue. Somehow, the computer isn't grasping the concept.

I've done the standard, turning everything off and back on again, wiggling cords, etc. Ergh.
