Jess, I have a Series 2 Tivo, last I checked it doesn't get Netflix. The Roku is in the bedroom. I use the Wii for the living room.
Ah, gotcha.
Got a question about technology? Ask it here. Discussion of hardware, software, TiVos, multi-region DVDs, Windows, Macs, LINUX, hand-helds, iPods, anything tech related. Better than any helpdesk!

Ah, gotcha.
I moved it to Natter.
Carry on!
Rigging a webcam question, ho.
So, a friend lent me a Canon ZR85 video camera a while back and I have, just today, pulled it out and discovered that I should be able to use it as a webcam on my G5 mac.
It's got a firewire port...engaged. It also has a usb port...also engaged. Skype...downloaded and engaged.
But the system is not seeing the camera at all.
I've turned it off and on again. Tried hitting record. And, in general, futzed with buttons, but nothing shows up on the desktop.
In checking for drivers, I'm told that it should not need one.
I don't have imovie, which was recommended to 'force' the system to see the camera.
Any suggestions on what I should try next?
Much obliged!

Bloglines (another free online reader) is OK. I switched from Bloglines to Google Reader due to Bloglines being down too much, but I don't know if it's improved since then.
I've never used a dedicated app for reading RSS feeds, but there are some good ones....
Give Feed Demon a try. It needs IE7 to be installed, though.
