Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I was bored and clicked on Hide this Menu on my Firefox bookmarks menu item. How do I get it back? I don't want to use the bookmarks sidebar.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Try right-clicking on one of the other toolbars at the top and select Menu Bar.

I've got the menu bar, but all the options are greyed out and Customize is likewise greyed out.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Try ctrl+b?

Yes, got it back! Had to go to the Delicious menu and click show bookmarks!

But now the menu bar is greyed out again. Strangeness.

Compassionately intolerant

Has anyone had any luck selling a domain name?

I've held on to one for 10 years and must now come to peace with the fact that I will never do anything with it. It expires in a couple of months and it seems only commonsensical to at least try to shift it.

It's currently registered at godaddy and they have an in-house auction function (of course...they are the godzilla of domains) but I'm wondering if that would be the best choice. Not to mention, it's a paid service...though not expensive.

Any success/cautionary tales?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've never even thought to bother. I just let mine expire. Huh. I wonder if that was a waste.

A domain name is pretty cheap though I believe going up slightly in July. When owners release really cool ones can they get a lot more than the price of a new domain? How much more?
