Ah. I've never had a phone that did that.
How many apps would the standard geek have on their phone? How are they managed? On the Cliq, so far I can either have the icon on one of the five desktops, or all flat in one location.

Folders for apps, I assume.
This. Games. Or the umpty-dozen productivity/listmaking gadgets I can't resist. Or the fucking useless stuff I'll never use but can't delete because it came with the phone and Apple has a deal with someone. Stocks App I'm Looking At You.

Shitloads. You swipe left/right to go from page to page. You can organize them by having a page act as a folder, but that's not exactly ideal.

Actually, now that I think about it, Symbian apps were foldered, but they were also nested way deep. Apart from the ones hotlinked at the top level, it was really hard to get to shit. Annoying interface.

I won't have that many, but I can see myself getting up to 100-120
amy is right about the Stocks app. Useless.
Are they alphabetically listed?
You can arrange them however you like. You hold down an app icon and all the icons start jiggling. Then you can drag any of them wherever you like.

That's better than Android Cliq, as far as I can work out.
Annoyingly I can't work out how to bluetooth files over to my Android phone
I haven't much experience with it on my Droid, but you might check out Bluetooth File Transfer and see if it works on the Cliq.

I have 80 apps now. I don't really think in terms of the total number, but more than 5 screens and I stop having an easy feel for where to find something. I don't see going up to a whole lot more apps but grouping and labeling them thematically would be killer.
