My new tv was cheap (on sale at target!) but I can definitely tell even the regular channels look nicer viewed through my cable box and the hdmi connection as opposed to going through the connectors on my TiVo. Sigh. But it all looks big and pretty. Steph, warning--being in a big store makes TVs look smaller, so you think you need more. Then it looks bigger once you get it home. Compare sizes to friends with similar size apartments or distances to tv viewing.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Oh. So the system (eta: iTunes) just hides it then?

If you look in ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music/TV Shows/ you'll see both copies of the TV show you downloaded.

Our wings are not tired

Don't listen to meara, she is silly. Go buy the biggest one in the store.

We have a 47" in the living room, Kristin disagrees that a 60" would be even better.

I got a 42" tv! It's plenty big! It's just in the store, it seemed kinda small.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm guessing she doesn't want to have to stand on the porch in order to see the entire image.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I bought my 30-something inch highdef TV from Radio Shack. It was the biggest TV they had that I could carry on the train.

OK, I'm at the laundromat, using my 3G modem. How do I turn off the offline features of Google Reader? So far, the only reference to "offline" has been about Google Gears.

And to use the mobile version of Reader, I just use a different url (reader.google.com) instead of www.google.com/reader, right?

eta: Well, that does cut down on bandwidth consumed....

I think it's m.google.com/reader or something like that. But on my phone the mobile version pops up automatically.

Yeah, reader.google.com redirects to www.google.com/reader/m, the mobile version.
